Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, April Rose holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s of Human Services degree from Kennesaw State University, demonstrating her dedication to education and personal growth. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and serves as the Grand Basileus of Chi Sigma Delta Inc., showcasing her commitment to sisterhood and community service. April rose has also held the titles of Mrs. Georgia International 2023 and Mrs. Spalding America 2024, and as the current Mrs. Georgia Activist USA she hopes to continue her advocacy work while holding this prestigious title.
April Rose co-owns ATJ Productions, specializing in pageant opening numbers and talent productions. She is also a co-owner and curator of National Educators of America, The Ultimate Junior Miss Scholarship Pageant, and The Mr. & Miss Ultimate United States Pageants, displaying her entrepreneurial spirit. April Rose has been recognized with prestigious accolades such as the 2023 President Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2024 Danny Glover Humanitarian Award for her advocacy against Domestic Violence. She hopes her efforts continue to positively impact countless lives.
Through her platform as an advocate and survivor of domestic abuse, April Rose inspires others to heal and overcome their struggles. Her message, “I show my scars, so others can heal,” emphasizes the importance of addressing childhood traumas and supporting survivors on their journey to recovery. In addition to her professional endeavors, April Rose is a loving mother to her two daughters, Jhai’Lien and Tay’Lour. She finds joy in supporting her children’s passions as a competitive cheer and dance mom, and cherishing quality time with her husband Harry.
