I met Akeila through our june wife of the month, Britney, via the MaryKay community! She is super bubbly and kind, focus-driven, and a great accountability partner. Sis is super smart and about her coins too! Akeila Goolsby, known as AkeilaB on her socials, hails from the small town of Monticello, Georgia, where there
are only two traffic lights but endless possibilities. With a basketball scholarship, Akeila attended Fort Valley State University, where she majored in Computer Information Systems and was also 1st Attendant to Miss
Fort Valley State University during her senior year.
Graduating with honors, she secured her dream job in the IT field as a Storage Implementation Specialist. Akeila quickly climbed the corporate ladder to a six-figure salary, where she’s a Senior Storage Engineer, but she also experienced the challenges of layoffs. This prompted her to diversify her career path and explore entrepreneurship. She ventured into direct sales (Mary Kay to be exact) became an influencer on social media, and launched her own business as a personal development coach—all while maintaining her full-time career. As the founder of TEA – The Elevate Academy, Akeila has guided over 100 career moms from a life of hustle to one of harmony using her proven 3D Framework: Decision, Design, & Diligence. Her passion is to help women elevate their lifestyles, achieve their goals, and live life with balance and purpose.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Akeila is deeply committed to her personal life. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising two beautiful children. She cherishes her role as a mom. She feels that God has entrusted her with the incredible responsibility of caring for her children, a gift she does not take for granted. She loves watching how, with every passing year, her bond with her kids grows deeper as they learn to love their imperfections together while living a purposeful life.
