Antoinette Ethridge is the founder of Antoinette Writes, LLC, where she helps mission-driven
organizations thrive through strategized grant writing, nonprofit planning, and project
management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in
Educational Leadership, which drove her career as an elementary school teacher for nearly a
decade. Antoinette brought the same passion she once poured into her students into her work
with nonprofits—helping them believe in their potential and reach milestones they thought were
out of reach. To date, her efforts have helped secure more than $3.6 million for nonprofits
focused on youth, education, human services, and community betterment.
Beyond her professional achievements, Antoinette’s journey is deeply shaped by her role as a
wife and mother. As a wife of 14 years and mother of three, Antoinette knows what it feels like
to wrestle with doubt, often wondering if she was doing enough, being present enough, or
balancing her many roles well enough. For years as a teacher, she gave so much of herself to
her students that she often missed being there for her own children in the ways she wanted. It
was only through God’s guidance and the leap into entrepreneurship that she discovered a new
way to use her gifts while showing up more fully for her family.
Antoinette’s journey hasn’t been without uncertainty. Building a business while raising a family
with another entrepreneur has meant navigating tough seasons and asking hard questions. Yet
through it all, she’s learned that “not enough” is a lie—that every season has a lesson, and
staying the course matters more than being perfect. Today, she models that truth for her family,
her clients, and anyone chasing a dream: you can build, stumble, and rise again, and God can
use all of it to shape the story you’re meant to tell.
