Dr. Ezimma Nnyagu is Miss Black International Ambassador 2024, a pharmacist, public health advocate, and healthcare administrator dedicated to creating equity in healthcare and healthcare leadership. Passionate about uplifting women and building community, she blends her love for pageantry, service, knowledge gathering, and storytelling to inspire others to inspire others to embrace purpose and poise in every season. Ezimma is passionate about using her voice to create space for women to grow, lead, and live with intention.
As the eldest of six and a proud Nigerian-American woman, she understands the weight of responsibility and the beauty of legacy—both of which inspire her work in pageantry, healthcare, and service.
Ezimma is the founder of “Navigating Sticky Floors & Glass Ceilings,” a platform focused on helping women of color break free from internal limitations and societal barriers. She also works to empower patients and families through her role in healthcare leadership. Whether she’s on stage, in a boardroom, or mentoring young professionals, she carries herself with warmth, excellence, and purpose.
Her favorite lesson from her single season? “Being single taught me how to be whole on my own. I learned to wake up with joy, lead with grace, and treat each day as a blessing—so that love, when it comes, is a complement and not a completion. My season of singleness has taught me how to love my own company and find joy throughout the journey. I learned that wholeness starts within—and when you’re deeply rooted in who you are, everything you attract is a reflection of your growth.”
