Brittany is my sister-in-law! She is a girl’s girl who is all about the luxurious things in life. Brittany Langley is a 34 year old wife and career woman living in Washington DC. Brittany is originally from the MidWest, being born and raised in the Twin Cities (Minnesota); however she has strong ties to Saginaw, Michigan where majority of her family still resides today. She was raised in the church and credits both of her parents for the values instilled in her, valuing hard work, family and education.
Brittany graduated from Howard University in 2012 and received her degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing. Brittany has worked in Sales and Consulting for over 10 years now within multiple industries and for reputable Fortune 500 companies like Procter & Gamble and DXC Technology.
During her matriculation at Howard, she met her now husband (Ronald) through a mutual friend, and they began dating after reconnecting at a homecoming event in 2014. They bonded over their love of music, sports, fine dining, family, and faith; and just celebrated their 1 year wedding anniversary this past September. They would love to start their own family in the near future, but for now are enjoying their time as a childless couple adding more stamps to their passport.
Prior to wifehood, Brittany had the privilege of becoming a member of her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha; where she is able to nurture her passion for sisterhood and community service. She also enjoys spending her time cooking, traveling the world, and doing anything that allows her to laugh or learn something new. Her latest venture includes reading one new book per month and starting a podcast with her sister!
Brittany’s favorite thing about being a wife is having a best friend to go through all of life’s peaks and valleys with and knowing her husband has her best interest at heart, supporting her in everything she does.
Her most valuable lesson of being a wife is understanding there will be different seasons of growth; but remembering to remain steadfast and open to constant evolution – without judgment to yourself or your partner – is pertinent.
Brittany’s advice to fellow wives is to keep God at the center of your relationship, always communicate with your spouse, and remember to give yourself grace, ensuring you pour into YOU first. Women wear multiple hats and always take care of those around them, but you cannot pour from an empty cup.
