I met Emanii through pageantry! I was honored to be her first runner-up to her Miss Georgia Earth title, and she has the most kind and beautiful spirit. Emanii Davis is a 30-year-old feminist, environmentalist, business woman, wife, and mother. She is one of those rare people you meet in life who is truly gorgeous on the inside and out in every interaction.
Having earned her respect in the pageant world with state, national, and international titles, Emanii is recognized as Miss Georgia USA 2016 where she placed 2nd runner up at Miss USA; and the first Eritrean American to win Miss Earth USA in 2019 and go on to finish her pageant career with an international title as Miss Earth Air in the Philippines.
She has been named “Miss of the Year” by Art and Beauty Magazine for her outstanding performance as a titleholder and her dedication to humanitarian and environmental work. Although she loves a great gown and a crown like any other queen, it is her community work that Emanii is most proud of.
With a B.A. in communications, a Master’s in Education, and career experience as a school counselor, Emanii has partnered and worked with organizations such as Enactus, Bert’s Big Adventure, Atlanta Children’s Hospitals, the USO, The Boys and Girls Club, and of course her own program, Girls in Charge. She currently serves as the community relations and service representative for Phill the Box—a company that focuses on creating a more sustainable planet while also helping organizations in the fundraising process.
Emanii has accomplished so much through her 20’s and now entering her 30’s she is all about pushing the envelope and showing women that we can be mothers, wives, bosses, friends, and health conscious all at the same time! She tries her best to be balanced and any mother knows how difficult that can be, but she has found it most important to always make time for herself.
The best advice Emanii has received as a wife and mother is to always remember to take it one day at a time. As simple as that may sound, Emanii believes we as women are always planning and trying to tackle the next thing and that can easily become overwhelming. “Enjoy every moment, good or bad, because eventually it will be gone,” she says. Emanii believes a Queen is nothing without a genuine heart and a passion for giving back and she will continue to walk in that light. Her favorite quote is, “If you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right.”
