Ketia Josey is my cousin and very first role model. Growing up, I’ve always admired her authenticity, talent, and social presence. Born and raised in McDonough, Georgia, Ketia discovered her love of the arts at a young age. At seven years old her first literary work, The Crab in the Swimming Pool was nominated for a state award. Throughout her childhood her love for creative writing and dancing led to various performances in talent shows and stage plays.
With a B.A in communications, Ketia is a graduate of THE Fort Valley State University, and while there she continued to develop her entertainment skills in acting, spoken word, and modeling. Additionally, she enjoys using her knowledge to effectively communicate and advocate for aspiring performers, and being an influential member among her peers. With over a decade of experience as a poet and model, Ketia is a true and well-rounded entertainer who enjoys indulging and learning in the realm of performing arts.
When she’s not on stage Ketia enjoys traveling, embracing new cultures, and creating new experiences! She believes it is important to have faith in what’s to come and never forget to love what is!
