I met Mama Miller through her daughter, Ashia, and she is a true gem, full of love and talent! She and her daughter are my very first mother-daughter duo to be featured as women as the month and I am elated to have them! Dorothy B. Miller is the wife of Gilbert Miller and the mother to two beautiful kids – Jarrod and Ashia Miller.
As a native of Bryan County Georgia, she grew up in a small town where she nurtured her love for hairstyling and sewing. She attended cosmetology school at Savannah Tech and went on to open her own hair salon. As a creative and entrepreneur for over 20 years, Mrs. Dorothy wore her own designs of clothing and accessories while working in her salon and attending events in her community. Mrs. Dorothy also designed a winning pageant gown for her daughter, making her the designer for Miss Georgia United States 2016. Today, Mrs. Miller spends her time reading, taking up new hobbies, and spending time with her husband and family.
